Heating and air for Augusta homes.

Augusta's housing runs from older homes on the Hill to newer builds in the west end of the city. Older houses usually had their AC added later, so the ductwork and equipment don't always match the house.

We take the city's heating and air calls and the home repair list that comes with an older house. A ceiling fan, a light, an outlet that quit, or a dryer vent nobody has cleaned in years.

Augusta is a short drive east of our base in Grovetown.

The houses in Augusta

Older Augusta homes often have ductwork in a crawlspace or a tight attic, and systems that were sized for a different layout. Newer homes in West Augusta look more like the subdivisions out toward Evans.

What the weather does here

The Savannah River valley holds heat and humidity through the summer. AC units here work hard from May into September, and an aging system shows it in July.

What we do in Augusta

• AC and system replacement. When a repair stops making sense, we quote a new unit, install it, and haul the old one away.
• Ductwork repair. A torn or disconnected duct sends your cold air into the attic. We find the hole and seal it.
• Home repairs and handyman. Ceiling fans, lights, switches, drywall, dryer vents, TV mounts, gutters and rental punch lists.
