Evans, upstairs and down.

Evans is mostly neighborhoods of larger family homes, and a lot of them run two systems: one for downstairs, one for the bedrooms upstairs. When one of them fails, the other can't keep up.

One of our reviews tells the usual story: the downstairs unit quits, the upstairs unit runs all day, and the house slowly climbs. We find which one failed and why.

Evans is next door to Grovetown, a quick drive up the road.

The houses in Evans

Two-story homes with separate systems are common here, along with smart thermostats and attic air handlers. Attic units mean drain pans and lines that need checking before they overflow.

What the weather does here

Long, humid summers. Attic air handlers in Evans heat-soak through July and August, and drain lines clog with the humidity.

What we do in Evans

• AC repair. Warm air, a unit that hums but won't start, water where it shouldn't be. We find the failed part and fix it, often the same day.
• Thermostats. Replacement and smart thermostat installs, wired right and set up for your system.
• HVAC maintenance. Preventative maintenance from an EPA certified tech, so the system is ready before July and January.
