Martinez homes, kept cool.

Martinez has a lot of established neighborhoods, with houses old enough to be on their second or third AC system. That's when the repair-or-replace question comes up, and we answer it straight.

If a capacitor or a fan motor will get the unit through, we fix it. If the compressor is gone on an older system, we quote a replacement and haul the old one away.

Martinez sits between Augusta and Evans, an easy drive from Grovetown.

The houses in Martinez

Ranch homes and older two-stories sit next to newer infill. Ductwork in older Martinez homes has often been patched more than once.

What the weather does here

Mature trees shade a lot of Martinez yards, which helps the house but fills condensers with leaves and pollen. A clogged coil makes the unit run hot.

What we do in Martinez

• AC and system replacement. When a repair stops making sense, we quote a new unit, install it, and haul the old one away.
• AC repair. Warm air, a unit that hums but won't start, water where it shouldn't be. We find the failed part and fix it, often the same day.
• Ductwork repair. A torn or disconnected duct sends your cold air into the attic. We find the hole and seal it.
